It can be an overwhelming job to manage EHS issues, as successful organizations increasingly operate many different types of facilities all over the world. These include what we would call “low-risk” facilities, such as offices, labs, data centers, warehouses, and retail stores.
And while these facilities are obviously lower risk than their manufacturing or industrial counterparts, they are not “no risk” and must be managed accordingly to ensure employee safety and productivity, meet employee and customer expectations, and protect against brand reputation threats.
