FCA US Launches Largest Private Fleet of Natural Gas-Powered Semitrucks in the State of Michigan

FCA US LLC announced today that it has invested $40 million in FCA Transport, the FCA US-owned truck fleet, to convert its 179 Detroit-based parts-haulers to run on compressed natural gas (CNG) rather than traditional diesel. The move gives FCA the largest private fleet of CNG-powered heavy-duty vehicles in the state of Michigan.

Republic Services in Albany, Oregon helped Glen look the part for his recent Career Day event at school. A Republic employee took the time to sew the company logo onto the smallest vest we could find, and Glenn added to the look with his own gloves and work boots. The look on his face made everyone’s day and now all are eager to receive his employment application in about 12 years! Republic is proud that our drivers serve as such meaningful role models in the community.
