Ommeed Sathe: Facelift for a Midsize City

Ommeed Sathe has a big job. He oversees a $500 million portfolio of investments designed to produce both financial and social returns, and Prudential aims to increase the amount of money invested to $1 billion by 2020. But the financial-services giant isn’t just investing in other people’s deals. The company is recruiting partners and creating its own projects for social good.

FOX's 'Empire' Leads 2016 NAACP Image Awards with 12 Nominations

In December, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) announced the nominees for the 47th NAACP Image Awards, with FOX's hit musical series Empire scoring 12 nominations across the music and television categories. Other 21st Century Fox businesses, including FX and 20th Century Fox, received nominations, as well as other FOX series such as Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Rosewood. The two-hour ceremony, hosted by Anthony Anderson, will be telecast live from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on TV One on Feb. 5 at 9pm/8c.
