This week is National Inclusion Week, it is a chance to reflect on what inclusion really means, celebrate inclusion, and commit to building a more inclusive culture.
Ruling Our eXperiences, Inc. (ROX), announces the development of The ROX Research and Training Institute thanks to a lead gift from Alliance Data, a marketing and loyalty company that delivers value through branded credit programs for many of the world’s most recognizable brands. The Institute will be the first multidisciplinary institute designed to address the complex needs of today’s girls by creating targeted and relevant trainings and educational content to enable adults to make data-informed decisions when teaching, mentoring, parenting and caring for girls.
The National Diversity Council announces 2018’s Top 15 Diverse Companies in Ohio. The Top 15 is derivative from the Diversity in Corporate Governance Report. The report is comprised of research performed by the National Diversity Council and is based on researched of racial, ethnic and gender diversity of corporate executive leadership and board membership of the 55 Fortune 1000 companies located in Ohio as compared with data for the states.

Recognizing that financial education is an important first step to financial stability and independence, National Disability Institute (NDI) and Wells Fargo released 15 quick financial education reference guides and five supplemental guides for people with disabilities. The new guides are designed to provide financial educators, American Job Centers, Vocational Rehabilitation, and community-based organizations access to resources and tools specifically for persons with disabilities. The disability-specific materials complement existing Hands on Banking® instructor guides for young adults, adults and entrepreneurs.
UPS was recognized by the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) with a 2018 “Sustain: ABLE Award” at PVA’s annual Mission: ABLE Awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. The company was acknowledged for leadership and support of the Paralyzed Veterans of America mission, programs and services.
