FCA US Belvidere Assembly Plant Teams Up with PepsiCo Recycling to Increase Recycling Effort While Supporting Disabled Veterans

As the nation pauses to honor its veterans on Nov. 11, the FCA US Belvidere Assembly Plant (Ill.), with assistance from PepsiCo Recycling, is launching a new program that will not only make recycling more convenient for its employees, but also help support disabled U.S. veterans.

Since mid-October, the archipelago of Indonesia has been under a haze of smoke from fires in Sumatra and Kalimantan. Mimika Regency in Papua, located east of where the fires rage, has smog thick enough to close the local airport.
In response to the smoke and haze damage, PT Freeport Indonesia has provided 6 tons of food as well as supplies for response teams dealing with the smoke and fire devastation.
