Throughout March, the Chemours Women’s Network (CWN) led initiatives that engaged employees across the globe in activities designed to elevate diverse perspectives, strengthen connections, and support a more inclusive workplace and community.
While many companies execute their diversity and inclusion (D&I) initiatives through high-level corporate strategies, we’ve learned there’s a crucial factor that, when taken into consideration, helps their efforts become a true culture and performance driver: belonging. When businesses get it right, it leads to more than just good vibes and friendships in the workplace—it improves employee retention and pride, and can be a more powerful motivator than money.
To celebrate Pride month, the rainbow flag will be prominently displayed throughout the month. Each color on the rainbow flag has a meaning: red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, blue for harmony, and violet for spirit. You will see the flag displayed not only by individuals to show their pride and support but also by businesses who value diversity in the community and the workplace.

HP and Girl Rising are now accepting submissions for the Girl Rising Creative Challenge, Powered by HP. This global challenge is designed to encourage individuals to share stories of how they or people within their own communities are making the world a better place for girls and young women through technology.
