In some areas of Thailand, especially rural areas, school buildings can still be run-down and filled with old equipment, which may lower the quality of education. PANDORA’s ‘My School Project’ gives its employees in Thailand a chance to give back to their local communities.

What are SBTs? Put simply, Science-based Targets specifies how much and how quickly companies need to reduce GHG emissions in order to avoid a 2°C global temperature increase. SBTs provide a clear pathway for a company to achieve future business growth while remaining below the 2°C limit. More than 300 companies have committed to setting SBTs under the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) and over 70 companies have approved SBTs.

Atlas Copco has been commended by the Peruvian Government for helping communities recover from the devastating floods caused by the ‘Fenómeno del Niño’ storm. The Ministry of Labour of Peru recognised Atlas Copco’s efforts in the northern city of Piura at an awards ceremony for companies that provided immediate assistance in the wake of the natural disaster. The award grants Atlas Copco the distinctive denomination of S.O.S Company in Peru.
