This year’s report presents an updated corporate responsibility strategy that provides a blueprint for activities over the next three years, with a focus on leveraging the company’s expertise in technology and data analytics to benefit the social good – a purpose-driven approach the company calls “data for good.”

Benevity Launches “Missions,” a Purpose-Driven Employee Engagement Solution

Today, Benevity announced the launch of its latest innovation: Missions, a new module for its award-winning cloud solution that lets companies engage employees in positive actions to do more good, helping create purpose-driven corporate cultures and increase their social impact. Missions empowers employees to adopt new prosocial behaviors through gamified and easy-to-complete activities, which can be tracked, measured and optionally rewarded through the software.

Reflections on Points of Light Service Unites 2018

One of my favorite annual events is Points of Light’s Service Unites. Not only is the conference an opportunity to connect with peers to celebrate best practices and commiserate lesson learned, but it is also a chance to share updates on emerging philanthropy trends and hear from global service leaders. This year’s event delivered on its promise of incredible speakers and insights on the state of volunteerism, and I am happy to share my reflections on three networking and learning-filled days in Atlanta.

On World Refugee Day: An Opportunity to Change the Narrative

In 2016, the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) launched a #WithRefugees campaign and petition and to date, almost two million people have pledged their support. With World Refugee Day this month, the UNHCR hopes to continue to build momentum for this petition, which encourages decision makers to ensure three basic goals: that every refugee child gets an education, has somewhere safe to live, and can work or learn new skills to support their families.
