Goose Island Beer Company stopped by New York City on July 29 and Philadelphia on Aug. 5 as part of its Migration Week Tour, which brings the popular Goose Island craft beer to more than 25 cities across the country and throughout the world, encouraging friends and patrons to meet their brewers and enjoy their beers. During five of the week-long tour stops, Keep America Beautiful community-based affiliates and partners are conducting community improvement volunteer events.
Since 2008, Xylem Watermark has been committed to Disaster Relief and Risk Reduction and has worked with global nonprofit partner, Mercy Corps, to complete 28 water projects in 19 countries to deliver clean water and rebuild water infrastructure in the aftermath of water-related emergencies, as well as to secure water in vulnerable regions around the world through community engagement, disaster preparedness training, and water infrastructure monitoring and analysis.
Subaru has supported Meals on Wheels for the last nine years through Share the Love, contributing more than $12 million to Meals on Wheels America and providing more than 1.7 million nutritious meals, friendly visits, and safety checks to seniors in communities nationwide. Subaru announced the donation to its 630-strong retailer body at the company’s National Business Conference in Denver, CO. This was particularly appropriate as Subaru retailers participate in the company’s annual Share the Love event and donate to causes in their local community. The company’s ‘50 Cars for 50 Years’ vehicle donation will enable Meals on Wheels programs to deliver more nutritious meals and moments of companionship, expanding its reach to seniors in need.
