BJ’s Wholesale Club teamed up with General Mills in honor of the 20th anniversary of its Adopt-A-School program by awarding $10,000 grants to five public elementary schools as well as $2,500 grants to four additional schools. Prince Fielder received big-time support from his Rangers teammates last week at his annual “Uncork for a Cause” wine-tasting benefit.

Elvis Andrus, Anthony Bass, Adiran Beltre, Delino DeShields, Jake Diekman, Sam Dyson, Sam Freeman, Yovani Gallardo, Chris Gimenez, Derek Holland, Colby Lewis, Keone Kela, Mitch Moreland, Mike Napoli, Ryan Strausborger and Bobby Wilson all helped the six-time All-Star raise funds for Promise House, which supports homeless kids and runaways, as well as the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation.
