HP Announces World on Wheels Mobile Labs at Global Citizen Festival India

At Global Citizen Festival India, HP announced a commitment to build and deploy 48 self-contained, Internet-enabled digital inclusion and learning labs aimed at driving digital literacy, education programming, entrepreneurship training, and other community services in rural India. The new program, called HP World on Wheels (WoW), is part of HP’s global initiative to create opportunities in underserved communities and empower people everywhere to build a better, more prosperous life. It also supports the Indian government’s Digital India initiative to transform the country into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy.

Norfolk Southern’s safety train recently completed its 2016 tour, training 1,926 first responders in 18 cities in 13 states across NS’ rail network. With rolling classrooms and hands-on activities, the safety train provided free training to firefighters, police officers, emergency management personnel, and other first responders on how to safely respond to a rail-related hazardous materials incident.
