Bacardi Limited, the world’s largest privately held spirits company, has once again been named among the most reputable companies in the world, according to the annual Global RepTrak® 100 list compiled by the Reputation Institute and published in Forbes. Ranked at #92, this is the third year in a row family-owned Bacardi has made the annual global ranking.
This year’s top-10 trusted brands – President’s Choice and Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC) tied for first – includes mass-market firms, such as Band-Aid and Shoppers Drug Mart, as well as more niche players, such as MEC, David’s Tea and Columbia Sportswear. Tesla fell just outside the GBTI’s top 10, ranking 11th over all.
Working Mother magazine has recognized Diageo North America among the “100 Best Companies for Working Mothers” for the eighth consecutive year. Diageo has repeatedly been named to this respected annual list for the company’s outstanding leadership in creating progressive programs for its employees in the areas of advancement of women, flexibility, child care and paid parental leave.
Last week, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) was honored for its sustainability efforts and named the industry leader in the Computers & Peripherals and Office Electronics Industry on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) World index.
For the third year in a row – TD has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability (DJSI) World Index which reflects the top 10 percent of leading companies worldwide. Out of 193 banks, TD was the only Canadian Bank to be included in the short list of 27 banks.
2016 marks the 14th consecutive year the company has appeared on the DJSI World Index, and the 12th year it has been named to the DJSI North America Index since it began in 2003.
CSX (Nasdaq: CSX) was named to the 2016 Dow Jones Sustainability Index for North America, recognizing the company’s leadership in sustainable and responsible business practices. CSX was the only U.S.-based railroad and one of only three transportation companies included on the North American index.
