SC Johnson Recognized for Environmental Leadership at 7th Annual Climate Leadership Conference

SC Johnson today announced it has received a Climate Leadership Award for Excellence in Greenhouse Gas Management (GHG) Goal Setting. The company has set an aggressive goal of further reducing GHG emissions 15 percent by 2020 from the base set in 2015. This could result in a reduction of more than 15,000 metric tons of emissions over five years.

As of 2018 Peninsula Clean Energy's (PCE's) ECO100 option is now certified by Green-e Energy, the leading renewable energy certification and verification program in North America administered by the nonprofit Center for Resource Solutions (CRS). General Motors today announced an expansion of its industry-leading landfill-free program as all of the company’s manufacturing plants in Canada, Mexico and South America now recycle, reuse or convert to energy all waste from daily operations. With the addition of 27 newly certified facilities, General Motors has 142 manufacturing and non-manufacturing landfill-free facilities globally — more than any other automaker.
