Orlando Named Pilot Location for First-of-Its-Kind Regional Recycling Project
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and its partners today announced that the City of Orlando will serve as the location for its multi-stakeholder pilot project, Beyond 34: Recycling and Recovery for A New Economy.The project aims to increase the current 34 percent recycling rate in the United States by providing a scalable model for improving recycling and recovery rates. The goal of the project is to help communities, cities, and businesses across the country create a more sustainable future.

AEG’s LA Galaxy will celebrate Pediatric Cancer Awareness Night Saturday, Sept. 30 at StubHub Center when the team hosts Real Salt Lake (7:30 p.m. PT; Spectrum SportsNet, Spectrum Deportes), honoring the Make-A-Wish® Greater Los Angeles as the official Community Partner of the Match. The match, presented by Dannon, during Pediatric Cancer Awareness Night will culminate a month of support from the LA Galaxy, in conjunction with MLS WORKS, of the 4th annual Kick Childhood Cancer Campaign, which encourages fans to “Go Gold” to raise awareness and funds during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
