WASHINGTON, D.C., September 28, 2017 /3BL Media/ - Experts and companies looking to explore the field of Global Pro Bono are convening in Moscow to discuss the road map for Global Pro Bono (GPB) in Russia. This will be the first Pro Bono Summit in Russia, as Russian companies develop a growing interest in the field of GPB.  Hosted by Deloitte and Taproot Foundation, Daniel Elliott, a Key Client Manager from PYXERA Global, will speak on a few highlights from the breadth of PYXERA Global’s global pro bono practice.

Elliott will be speaking in two sessions called About Pro Bono: International Experience and Pro Bono: Models and Technologies. The first session will be a snap shot of the 27 years of experience PYXERA Global has in GPB, telling the story of the field’s growth, its challenges, and its growing trends. The second session will introduce the audience to how PYXERA Global executes pro bono programs at the cross-border, regional, and executive levels depending on the needs of the participating organizations on all sides. At these levels, there are different needs regarding the types of programs and levels of implementation. Elliott will address the tools and insights PYXERA Global uses to determine the most impactful programming.

“Expanding pro bono beyond a domestic geography enables participants to develop the competencies needed to be a successful leader in a global market,” said Elliott. “Pro bono offers an immersive, accelerated experience that benefits participants, companies, and local clients.”

The main objectives of this conference are to introduce the concept of Global Pro Bono to newly interested companies and to advise on how they can integrate new programs into existing priorities. For companies already practicing pro bono, this will be an opportunity to learn about the best practices from some of the top program implementers in the field.
