Rebuilding Together, a leading national nonprofit that rebuilds homes and communities for people in need throughout the country, will join together with its affiliate, Rebuilding Together Baltimore, to lead its seventh annual Building a Healthy Neighborhood community revitalization project in Baltimore, Md.

This summer, Mohawk Industries partnered with a Georgia-based credit union to “crash” four schools and give them makeovers in the fourth annual Georgia United Credit Union School Crashers℠ program. School Crashers offers local schools the opportunity to apply for a facility makeover. In 2017, 330 schools submitted nominations for makeovers.

By following the money, we are now establishing a better line-of-sight into the true costs of using water. This, in turn, has enabled us to begin building a model that will provide our managers not just a truer picture of their water costs, but more precisely where they should focus their water efficiency improvement projects for the greatest benefit. This model is now being tested in some of our mills and will be improved as we learn more.

It is an ongoing challenge for this federal agency to secure the money required to maintain real-time monitoring stations across the country. Moreover, if the USGS stops executing this mission, the benefit of long-term water monitoring data is lost. Enter Domtar. Wells Fargo today named 20 small businesses as winners and finalists of the Wells Fargo Works for Small Business®: Neighborhood Renovation Program Contest, which ran from May 1 – June 16, 2017. Each business will receive a physical makeover including architect-advised renovation planning and design. Wells Fargo launched the program in collaboration with Rebuilding Together, a premier nonprofit organization focused on rebuilding communities in need across the country, which will help complete the renovations.
