International fragrance company, Scentsy, Inc. is teaming up with Habitat for Humanity for a yearlong partnership to help create a world where more families will have a place to call home.

CMT to Air Hurricane Harvey Relief Telethon On September 12

Hand in Hand is, at its heart, about unity. CMT will team up with other broadcast networks, including ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, to share the special with as many Americans as possible. The event will air from Los Angeles, with stages in New York, Nashville and San Antonio.

North Market is More Than a Grocery Store

General Mills’ $250,000 donation to Pillsbury United Communities toward the development of North Market aims to help provide access to healthy food in north Minneapolis.

The nonprofit grocery is expected to open this November. It will be the first full-service grocery store in North Minneapolis to open in more than 10 years.

McDonald’s USA Named National Sponsor of Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup

Keep America Beautiful, the nation’s iconic community improvement nonprofit organization, today announced McDonald’s has become a National Sponsor of Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup (GAC), the largest year-round community improvement program in the country. Efforts will get underway on Sept. 9, 2017 with National Planting Day, a fall initiative of the GAC. McDonald’s is the exclusive Presenting Sponsor of National Planting Day.

Keep America Beautiful Launches “Community Restoration and Resiliency Fund”

Motivated by the need caused by the devastation from Hurricane Harvey and the threat of Hurricane Irma, Keep America Beautiful, the nation’s iconic community improvement nonprofit organization, today launched the Community Restoration and Resiliency Fund. Lowe’s, a long-time national sponsor of Keep America Beautiful, has agreed to become a founding member of the fund with a donation of more than $125,000. Individuals and businesses can donate now at act.kab.org/KABfund.
