Kids Helping Kids: Easing the Financial Burden of Childhood Cancer

Her fundraising initiatives of humble origins transformed into Team Hailey Hugs, a not-for-profit organization founded in 2016 to provide vital financial assistance to families in Maine who have a child with cancer. Since its founding, THH has provided more than $106,000 in emergency funding support to 144 families.

240 Miles for Charity

Over the next two days, 15 bikers will ride 240 miles from Benton Harbor to Clyde, Ohio. The intention is to raise money for the two United Way organizations prevalent in each city. While some of the bikers work in Ohio and others work in Benton Harbor, they all come from the same home appliance maker.

Whirlpool Corp. employees and retirees have been involved in Relay for Life of Berrien County since 1996.
