This week is National Inclusion Week, it is a chance to reflect on what inclusion really means, celebrate inclusion, and commit to building a more inclusive culture.
Northern Ghana Shea (NGS), a social enterprise operating in the Upper West region of Ghana, has joined the Business Call to Action (BCtA) with a commitment to expand market access for 4,000 rural women who pick shea nuts and produce shea butter, and to diversify their customer base by securing at least two international buyers by 2018. As part of its commitment, by 2017 the company will increase the volume of these small-scale farmers’ production by 60 percent.
KeyBank (NYSE: KEY) has earned the #44 place on the 2016 Top 50 Companies for Diversity list, which DiversityInc announced at a keystone event at Cipriani Wall Street on Tuesday, April 19. KeyBank was also ranked #2 of 10 on the “Best Companies for Opportunity” list and #7 of 12 on the “Diversity Council” list.
