DuPont People Spotlight: Celebrating Our Working Mothers

Growing up on a thousand-acre family farm in rural Michigan, Wendy Srnic loved “getting her hands dirty” gardening and raising livestock — in the case of her family — cattle. Today, she is the research director of Integrated Product Characterization & Development at DuPont Pioneer and is the leader of a team of 350 employees spanning four countries that is responsible for a key step in the DuPont Pioneer pipeline for getting new hybrids and varieties of corn, soybeans and other crops to market. She also was selected as the DuPont U.S. Working Mother of the Year for 2016 and was honored with other women from the Working Mother 100 Best Companies list at a dinner in October.

HP Recognized as World Leader for Corporate Action on Ending Deforestation

HP has been identified as a global leader for the actions and strategies it is taking to manage its use of timber products more sustainably by CDP, which named HP one of only eight companies to earn a position on the inaugural CDP “Forest A List” for its deforestation management efforts. Lockheed Martin Achieves Perfect Score on Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index for Ninth Consecutive Year

For the ninth year in a row, Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) achieved a perfect score of 100 percent on the Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The index is a national benchmarking survey administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation to measure corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) workplace inclusion. The corporation was also cited as a 2017 Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.

Marina Bay Sands Receives Distinction Award for Innovative Approaches towards Waste Reduction

Marina Bay Sands has been honored with a Distinction Award at the biennial 3R Awards for Hotels for its innovative methods to minimize waste. In conjunction with the National Environment Agency (NEA) and Singapore Hotel Association (SHA), the award aims to recognize hotels that go the extra mile to practice the 3Rs (reduce, reuse and recycle) on their premises and within their operations.
