Area students will learn about the mill's science, math, engineering and math (STEM) program as employees visit schools in North Carolina and host a mill tour. In late March, members of Arrow Electronics’ recruiting team took part in the 43rd Annual National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Annual Convention held in Kansas City, Mo. The event attracted undergraduate and graduate NSBE students majoring in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, making it one of the largest gatherings of STEM talent across the U.S.
