Three years into remission, Justin Fairfax was working for a company that helped produce events for Hormel Foods when he heard someone onstage mention the Hormel Vital Cuisine™ brand, the company’s line of specialty products that help with recovery.

“I thought, ‘Holy cow, why didn’t I know about this when I went through treatment?’” Fairfax remembered. “It made a big impact on me that a big company was dedicating its research and development efforts to making the lives of people who are going through cancer better and more comfortable.”

Sodexo, world leader in Quality of Life Services and a partner to the United States Marine Corps, joined forces with that organization last weekend in support of its annual Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) Kids Run. This event, a one-mile just-for-fun run for kids age 5-12, is an annual lead-up activity to the largest marathon in the world that doesn't offer prize money. Sodexo has sponsored the event since 2003.

Essity and the Philadelphia Eagles Team up to Encourage Proper Handwashing With Free Posters for Regional Schools

A series of two posters were created feature Eagles Cornerback Jalen Mills, Eagles mascot SWOOP, and two local children, taking the steps to properly wash and dry their hands with a paper towel, with the messages, ‘Clean Hands Make Healthy Fans!’ and ‘Wash. Dry. Fly, Eagles, Fly!’ Jalen Mills’ jersey number is 31, and students are encouraged to wash their hands for 31 seconds. The posters are free and will be made available to schools in the Delaware Valley region.
