In support of Earth Month, AEG, the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company, today launched the “#GoGreen Challenge,” a month-long social media campaign that urges people to calculate their carbon footprint and then take action by conserving more, using less and recycling.

Tetra Tech won the CCBJ Business Achievement Award for Consulting & Engineering Practice in the Offshore Wind category and the EBJ Business Achievement Silver Award for Large Firms.

Eleven-year-old Genesis Garrett has been fishing for redfish in the Gulf of Mexico since she was a toddler, but on this day, instead of taking fish from the water, she put one in. Genesis and her dad, Zachary Garrett, joined Duke Energy and Coastal Conservation Association Florida at Brasher Park in Port Richey, Florida, to release 25 adult and 2,000 juvenile redfish.

Not a month goes by without a media campaign linking the supply chain of a well-known brand with unsavory labor practices or environmental mismanagement. Such exposés can devalue brands and reduce well-meaning corporate sustainability initiatives to hypocrisy.
