The local branch of Millipore Sigma, an international life science company, reached out to Vail Elementary School and River Springs Charter School to give students a day of hands-on science experiments and learning. The 22-foot by 10-foot, solar-powered laboratory holds advanced technology in virtual reality, augmented reality, high-tech microscopes, 3-D printers and touch screen TVs, creating an interactive experience.
