Hi everyone! I am Rahul, a Software Development Engineer, currently working with the Business Metrics Platform Team (FORGE Engineering) at GoDaddy. I am based in Delhi, India, and hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
Innovation. It's been our thing since Dr. Abbott set up shop in a Chicago neighborhood more than a century ago. It’s still our thing. But don’t take our word for it.Ask Popular Science, which named our Absorb disappearing stent and FreeStyle Libre* glucose monitoring system – the one that saves you a routine stick of the finger – as two of its "Best of What's New" innovations in 2016. PopSci's bottom line on these medical breakthroughs: They "transform their category, solve an unsolvable problem, and incorporate entirely new ideas and functions." Sounds like a pretty good description to us.
A rapidly growing oil and gas exploration and production company needed a comprehensive business solution to address the newly promulgated greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting requirements pursuant to 40 CFR 98 Subpart W. Looking to expand their oil and gas assets beyond the current nine states and 500,000 square miles, the client required support understanding the consequences of adding additional wells into their GHG reporting program.
The client, one of the largest independent pipeline operators in the United States, operates a network of over 6,000 miles of pipeline and more than 120 storage terminals located primarily in the northeast and upper Midwest. Creating a consistent SPCC Plan that meets federal standards, and internal policies and practices was a constant challenge.
A national railroad client requested Antea Group services to complete an SPCC program for 135 railroad sites encompassing a range of facility types in multiple states. To realize a maximum benefit for the client, the program required the development of a general format that could be tailored to the individual needs of each site. The format required conformance with all regulatory requirements, while addressing different operating conditions existing across the entire client rail system. The facilities included intermodal yards, switch yards, locomotive repair yards and contractor operator sites.
Emerging global markets, liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects and increased coal plant retirements represent growing opportunities for the natural gas industry even as low-price conditions hinder capital investments. This outlook, found in Black & Veatch’s just-released 2016 Strategic Directions: Natural Gas Industry Report, reflects widely varying market outlooks for the upstream, midstream and downstream segments.
Antea Group has been contracted by multiple exploration and production companies to complete performance testing for portfolios of stationary internal combustion engines located at production facilities throughout the Denver-Julesburg Basin. Each individual engine is subject to unique permitting and compliance requirements. Antea Group is contracted to coordinate testing efforts in order to maintain compliance with both state and federal agencies.
The client, a chemical manufacturing company, was separating into two separate companies. As part of the separation process, it was determined that approximately 300 EH&S related permits, licenses and registrations in multiple states required transfer to the new entity in order to allow continued operation.
Antea Group was contracted to develop a Leak Detection and Repair Program for a natural gas plant in Wyoming to comply with New Source Performance Standard EPA 40 CFR 60 Subpart a requirements. One portion of this project involved uniquely identifying and physically tagging potentially leaking components (valves, flanges, etc.) that are subject to the leak detection rules. The challenge to accurately track and maintain the required database of identified leaks, required records of follow-up repairs, and all associated inspection details is a common task in many industries. The gas plant is required to perform monthly leak inspections using an IR camera, and to track and monitor each leak and repair among nearly 4,000 identified components, requiring an efficient identification and data man
Antea Group was contracted to identify and quantify potential environmental liability associated with the operational acquisition of a multi-site portfolio of California retail fuel outlets. The objective consisted of characterizing existing petroleum hydrocarbon impacts by developing a custom Phase II baseline assessment scope of work to address specific data gaps identified in previously performed Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
Antea Group was contracted as part of an acquisition team to provide environmental liability and compliance related due diligence services for an approximately 500 location retail fuel outlet portfolio acquisition in the southeast US. The client was a South American energy company making its first retail fuel outlet acquisition in the US, and the project was to be performed under an extremely tight timeline.
