Members of Arrow Electronics’ “Young Professionals” group recently volunteered with The GrowHaus, a Denver-area nonprofit indoor farm, community marketplace and educational center. The 25 Arrow volunteers helped to pack food bags that would be donated to local families in need, and they also washed, chopped and boxed pallets of lettuce, mushrooms, seasonal produce and eggs for distribution to local markets and stores.

Tuesday, over 50 corporate citizenship leaders from Fortune 1000 companies joined the Mojave Desert Land Trust (MDLT) for a stewardship event organized by Benevity. The desert cleanup took place on an MDLT property, a wilderness corridor located within the Sand to Snow National Monument.
Employees from Xylem (NYSE:XYL), a leading global water technology company that is dedicated to solving the world’s most challenging water issues, logged more than 21,000 volunteer hours in 2016 in activities aimed at providing and protecting safe water resources and educating people about water, sanitation, and hygiene.
Some created programs for children with disabilities. Many worked to provide food to peers in need who go without subsidized school meals over the weekend. A few worked to raise awareness about the danger of distracted driving.
