Sands China Academy Celebrates Internship Program Graduation

In May, Sands China Academy hosted a graduation ceremony for the 111 Macao university students who completed Sands China’s Integrated Resort Internship Program. Sands China celebrated the students’ achievements and three graduates were presented with an “Impressive Performance Award” with a limited-edition souvenir by their department heads as a token of recognition for their exceptional performance.

Giving back has been an integral part of Total Quality Logistics (TQL), the second largest freight brokerage in North America, since the beginning. For 10 years, this program took a fairly traditional approach, with an annual giving campaign that lasted two weeks, small matching programs and volunteer endorsements, but only for Cincinnati-area employees. As the company experienced major growth, it meant big challenges.
