PNC Launches Quarterly Corporate Social Responsibility Newsletter

PNC’s recently released 2017 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report outlines the ways that the company is meeting its commitments to its stakeholders – including employees, customers, shareholders and communities. Now, with the launch of its quarterly CSR newsletter, PNC is able to provide more up-to-the-moment information on the progress it’s making against those commitments.

CLP Sets 2030 Targets for Priority SDGs

Four United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will become the CLP Group's target impact areas leading up to 2030. They include climate action (SDG 13), affordable and clean energy (SDG 7), decent work and economic growth (SDG 8), and industry, innovation and infrastructure (SDG 9).

Cerro Verde, a Freeport-McMoRan Company, Supports Micro and Small Enterprise Development

Sociedad Minera Cerro Verde (SMCV) contracted with Cáritas Arequipa to educate and train a group of Uchumayan women in Arequipa, Peru, in Cosmetology. The program required 300 hours of coursework and practical training. In December 2017, 26 Uchumayinas graduated from the program, and were supplied with cosmetology and salon supplies in order to be able to start their own businesses with the necessary tools.
