Tetra Tech celebrated five years of achievements by the Feed the Future Uganda Agricultural Inputs (Ag Inputs) Activity, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), at the Activity’s Close-out Learning Event in Kampala, Uganda, in September 2017. The Activity worked to increase farmers’ use of high-quality agricultural inputs and decrease the prevalence of counterfeit inputs in Uganda.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary, America Recycles Day educates people about the importance of recycling to our economy and environmental well-being, and helps to motivate occasional recyclers to become everyday recyclers. A Keep America Beautiful national initiative, America Recycles Day takes place on and in the weeks leading into Nov. 15, and is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to promoting recycling in the United States.

I hadn’t been to Haiti since June 2010, six months after the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that decimated much of the island. At that time, there were still many ruins of collapsed buildings, piles of rubble along the roadsides, and thousands of people living in makeshift tent camps.
