Engaging Employees for Impact: Global Health Corporate Champions Improve Capacity for Public Health in Senegal

For the third year in a row, The Dow Chemical Company (Dow) will send top professionals into the field as Global Health Corporate Champions (GHCC), to work with local organizations to improve health in Africa. The highly skilled professionals, which include a physician, attorney, country manager, manufacturing manager, and supply chain director, will serve as pro bono consultants to two key public health organizations in Dakar, Senegal.

Traveling Science Lab 'Curiosity Cube' Comes To Laramie 

Pharmaceuticals and biosciences company MilliporeSigma is stopping in Laramie this week to showcase its “Curiosity Cube.” What used to be a 22 by 10-foot shipping container is now a mobile science lab with interactive experiments. The Curiosity Cube allows kids to experience different technologies like high-tech microscopes, virtual reality, and 3D printers.

The JetBlue Foundation and Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals (OBAP) to Introduce Nearly 200 Students to Careers in Aviation

JetBlue today announced a collaborative initiative between the JetBlue Foundation and the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals (OBAP) to introduce aviation careers to students traditionally under-represented in the field. This summer both organizations are working together to increase awareness of aviation-related careers through hands-on learning for minority students and girls, ages 14-18. Students will learn directly from pilots and other aviation professionals at JetBlue’s airports, hangars and flight training centers in Boston; Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Long Beach/Los Angeles; New York; Orlando, Fla.; San Juan, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
