Caring runs deep at Tyson Foods. For nearly 20 years, we’ve worked to provide hunger relief in the communities where we live and work. Grants and product donations to strategic food banks and nonprofit organizations are the bulk of this support.
Through growth and acquisitions, we have become neighbors to more and more people every year, and we’re adding to our neighborhood every day. This not only helps us grow our business, but also allows us to bring hunger relief to even more people.
Domtar products are part of everyday living for people around the world, and the forests where our products originate are home to a wide range of wildlife. That’s why protecting both habitats and resources is so important to us. Our conservation efforts are a foundational part of our sustainability philosophy of responsibility, efficiency and engagement.
At Domtar, our position as a forest products industry leader is rooted in our ability to focus on sustainability across our manufacturing processes. That’s apparent in the great progress we’ve made toward achieving our 2020 sustainability goals, especially through our waste-reduction initiatives.

One of Xylem’s long-standing nonprofit partners, Planet Water, celebrated the installation of its 1,000th “AquaTower” on October 3rd, achieving one million people across fourteen countries who now have access to clean, safe drinking water. The 1000th Tower jumpstarts a new organization initiative to bring clean water to an entire District in Cambodia. Xylem is proud to have worked alongside Planet Water for years, setting up AquaTowers that last from 5-7 years in communities that currently lack safe drinking water. Xylem also provides WASH education to the community’s residents. Thank you, Planet Water, for making this impact possible. Together, we celebrate this accomplishment, and look forward to continuing to work together to solve water globally.
