Operational leaders from around the world nominate their top Tetra Tech employees for the Leadership Academy, with the final 30 participants selected by Tetra Tech CEO Dan Batrack. Participants work with top leaders from Tetra Tech’s global operations; interact with executive management; expand their knowledge of the company; and focus on operational, financial, and interpersonal skills.

Sands Cares | Veterans Village Container Housing Groundbreaking Ceremony

On February 26, Veterans Village broke ground at the site of their newest housing development for homeless veterans. Through Sands Cares, Las Vegas Sands’ corporate giving program, Veterans Village was given a “seed grant” to support the early stages and infrastructure of the shipping container neighborhood. With Las Vegas ranking as one of the top ten cities with the highest homeless populations in the country, Las Vegas Sands is committed to providing relief and finding solutions to end homelessness in Las Vegas.

“Xploration Station,” Fox’s Block of STEM Programming for Kids, Earns Eight Daytime Emmy Nominations

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has announced the nominees for the 45th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards and included eight nominations for Xploration Station, the three-hour block of STEM-related programming for kids and teens that airs on Fox TV Stations. Xploration Station consists of six half-hour shows exploring a wide range of scientific subjects, including space exploration, earth science, and more. The winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Sunday, April 29.
