SoberRide®, Greater Washington’s popular free safe ride service to prevent drunk driving will now be solely available via the Lyft mobile app rides-haring platform. Officials with the nonprofit Washington Regional Alcohol Program today announced a partnership with the ridesharing service Lyft to provide WRAP’s SoberRide® service in the Washington-metropolitan area through 2017.

Hoping to engage more than 300,000 people in a nationwide tour, a German-based biotech Saturday unveiled its Curiosity Cube science lab at Petco Park in one of the nation’s largest science expos.
