Holland America Line’s ms Noordam and ms Veendam Achieve Perfect Scores of 100 on United States Public Health Inspection

On recent routine United States Public Health inspections conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Holland America Line’s ms Noordam achieved a perfect score of 100, marking the ship’s second consecutive perfect score, and ms Veendam also scored 100. Additionally, Veendam earned a near-perfect score of 99 on an inspection conducted by Health Canada.

In the past several decades, there has been a dramatic demographic shift in the workforce. In a recent survey, 61 percent of respondents reported being employed during pregnancy. More families depend on women's income than ever before. According to the Pew Research Center, women are the primary or sole breadwinners in nearly 40 percent of families with children.

Morgan Stanley Healthy Cities to Deliver Network of Children’s Health Programming to Houston Youth

Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) today announced a sixth location for its innovative Morgan Stanley Healthy Cities initiative. Healthy Cities Houston aims to deliver a linked network of wellness, nutrition and play resources to children in underserved communities, and launched today with the construction of a new playground at KIPP Unity Primary School. Together, more than 200 volunteers from Morgan Stanley, KIPP, The Houston Food Bank and the local community will work with KaBOOM!, a national nonprofit dedicated to bringing balanced and active play into the daily lives of all children, to complete the new play space in just one day.
