When the Reed family went to Long Beach’s Heartwell Park on a recent weekend, they planned to visit the duck pond as part of daughter Naomi’s seventh birthday celebration. But they ended up seeing much more than ducks, they saw a helicopter landing among other things.

MGM Resorts employees raised over $5 million in 2014. As a result, the MGM Resorts Foundation was able to impact 251,980 individuals and families through grants for food, housing and self-sufficiency programs in that same time period. Employees raised the funds through a variety of activities, including an annual giving campaign; individual fundraising events, and an employee talent show.

Ingersoll Rand received top honors from the North Carolina Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council at the Council’s annual Green Gala in Charlotte, N.C. Ingersoll Rand earned the Thomas Edison Award and the Talking Walls Award for small commercial buildings.
