On both sides of the Atlantic last week, Mars leaders took to the stage to discuss the importance of running a business guided by strong principles. From a conference hall on the outskirts of London in the UK to a Washington, DC venue that attracted some of industry’s most powerful women, the message was clear: if you want to be successful, do business with purpose.

Our energy system is undergoing a massive amount of change. Whether it’s converting coal plants to natural gas, incorporating intermittent renewable sources like solar and wind farms, or dealing with demand management or distributed generation from residential rooftop solar; our traditional grid and its operators are experiencing a great deal of stress.

On October 12, representatives from 21st Century Fox and the Give a Note Foundation presented a grant to Castle Creek Elementary School in Orlando, Florida, as part of the 21st Century Fox Give a Note Grants initiative. The grant will support the music education program at the school, which has struggled for years to find adequate funding. 21st Century Fox and the Give a Note Foundation announced the grant program in March to commemorate the end of FOX's groundbreaking musical television series Glee, which sparked renewed interest and participation in school music programs during its six-season run. The grants will support 16 under-funded music programs at schools across the United States.
