California Resources Corporation (NYSE: CRC), an independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company, has joined nonprofit social enterprise First Book to deliver books to children in need across Kern County.

Bloomberg BNA today announced it will be providing complimentary access to Bloomberg Law to the DC Affordable Law Firm (DCALF). Bloomberg Law, a leading all-in-one technology platform for the legal industry, will provide its suite of products with no charge to DCALF, which offers affordable, high-quality legal services to Washington, D.C. residents who do not qualify for free legal aid, as well as small businesses and nonprofits in the District. An independent nonprofit with 501(c)(3) status, DCALF is a collaboration launched by Georgetown University Law Center, Arent Fox LLP, and DLA Piper LLP.
