Smithfield Foods is proud to support the Faison Center with a grant for a driving simulator to teach driving skills in a safe environment to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Faison Center and Clemson University are conducting research using the simulator to refine driver education programs. This project aligns with our focus on education and helping communities where our people live and work.

National Geographic recently hosted an “Evening of Exploration” at the Natural History Museum in London, the biggest event the organization has ever held in Europe. The gala was an opportunity to celebrate National Geographic’s 130 years of groundbreaking storytelling with National Geographic Explorers, National Geographic leaders, and luminaries from across Europe and Africa.

During the breakfast, Lance Berkman – former Astro, fellow World Series Champion and SpringSpirit Board member – led a conversation with Correa about what he has learned in his journey to become a professional baseball player.
