For 40 years, Hallmark supported the Girl Scouts in their mission to build “girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.” In 2017, Hallmark was humbled to receive the Girl Scouts’ Corporate Philanthropy Award in recognition of its long- time commitment.

This is the first in a series for Women’s History Month where female students met with women who work at Duke Energy to tour each employee’s workplace and learn about careers in the energy industry. By showing the girls careers they were unaware of, we hope to inspire them to cast aside gender roles and set their own path.

Three winners of the eighth annual Hormel Foods MLK essay contest visited the Hormel Foods corporate offices today to read their winning essays to company employees. The students – Patrick Brown from Little Rock, Ark., Blessyn Champ from Minneapolis, Minn., and Ben Kim from Atlanta, Ga. – claimed the top honors among hundreds of entries from 19 different schools this year. Their visit to the corporate office marks the second time the company has invited essay winners in for a reading.

3M (@3M) and Discovery Education (@DiscoveryEd) today announced the start of the 12th annual 3M Young Scientist Challenge (#YoungScientist), the nation’s premier science competition for students in grades 5-8. The 3M Young Scientist Challenge is designed to encourage the exploration of science and innovation among America's youth and to promote the importance of science communication. Ten national finalists will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from a 3M Scientist Mentor, compete for $25,000, and earn the title of America's Top Young Scientist. The competition entries are accepted until the Tuesday, May 7, 2019 deadline.

King Khalid Foundation is proud to partner with AccountAbility to facilitate the Sustainability Leading Practices (SLP) Training Program. This will be the fifth training, following four highly successful workshops in Riyadh, Abha, Dammam and Jeddah. The workshop will be conducted through three days of training sessions on April 16-18, 2019. The training will be provided in English and simultaneous Arabic translation will also be available.

Felice Siciliano, President of the ITS MSTM Foundation (Sustainable Maritime Transport Mobility), and Neil Palomba, President of Costa Cruises, signed - in the presence of the Education Councillor Lucia Fortini - an important cooperation agreement: Costa Group will work with the ITS Foundation in the training of students who are preparing to become engineer officers.

HP’s CEO Dion Weisler took a pledge back in 2017 to advance these values in the workplace, as part of a CEO-driven business initiative called the CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion. It does not appear to be an empty promise.
