For the 14th consecutive year, Duke Energy has been named to Site Selection magazine's annual list of "Top Utilities in Economic Development."

In the magazine's September edition, it credits Duke Energy's economic development team and its successful collaboration with state and local partners for delivering more than $5.9 billion in capital investments and more than 12,460 new jobs in 2017. Duke Energy has been featured on the list every year since 2005.

Sodexo, a food services and facilities management company committed to quality of life, was named as a top-ten company most praised by NGOs (non-governmental organizations) for its leadership on environment issues, human rights and animal rights in the second quarter of 2018 by global research and strategy consultancy, SIGWATCH. Sodexo was specifically commended for its pledge to source only cage-free eggs by 2025.

Republic Services, Inc. (NYSE: RSG), an industry leader in U.S. recycling and non-hazardous solid waste disposal, was named to both the 2018 Dow Jones Sustainability (DJSI) World and North America Indices for the third consecutive year. The rankings highlight Republic’s continued leadership in corporate governance, environmental, social and financial sustainability.

The editors of Latina Style magazine have named FCA US LLC among the top 12 U.S. companies for Hispanic women to work. The ranking is part of the magazine’s annual Latina Style 50 Report (LS50 Report). More than 800 companies were evaluated for inclusion on the list. The LS50 Report highlights companies that have a dedicated effort to diverse recruitment and promotion initiatives, including companies that have programs to recruit veterans and military personnel.

Benevity saw a big boost in giving to immigrants’ rights organizations following the news about family separations at the U.S. border. Donations to RAICES skyrocketed, as the organization moved from place #13,433 in May to the #2 recipient of funds disbursedon the Benevity platform in June.

Black & Veatch has been recognized by Solar Power World magazine for its achievements within the solar industry, earning the No. 9 spot as an overall Top Solar Contractor on the magazine's 2018 Top Solar Contractors list.
