Stopping deforestation in cocoa begins with helping farmers improve their livelihoods. That is the approach Cargill is taking as we continue to deliver on our promise of ending deforestation in all of our operations, and it is especially true in cocoa.

KeyBank Community Development Lending & Investment (CDLI) has provided a total of $13.7 million in financing to Swell LLC, for the construction of Turnagain Place in Anchorage, AK. The 29-unit apartment project will serve households earning 50% and 60% AMI, persons with disabilities and persons who have formerly experienced homelessness.

Weatherford International plc (NYSE: WFT) pledged $25,000 to Feeding Texas, the Texas Food Bank Network, and $25,000 to J.J. Watt's Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund to support and assist in relief efforts across impacted areas. These funds will help provide immediate resources across the state of Texas including food, water, and cleaning supplies, and will aid in long-term rebuilding efforts.
