The Players Trust will bring its off-season fund-raising activities to the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip when Major Leaguers host their annual golf tournament at Shadow Creek on January 15.   Sculpted from the desert by renowned golf architect Tom Fazio, Shadow Creek is among the world’s most exclusive and exquisite golf courses.   The Players Trust golf tournaments offer sponsors and supporters of the Trust with a one-of-a-kind experience, bringing dozens of players past and present together to have fun and raise funds for a number of great causes. Players currently scheduled to attend in January include Hall of Famers Eddie Murray, Ozzie Smith and Dave Winfield as well as current and former players such as Adrian Beltre, Bobby Bonilla, Eric Davis, Matt Harvey, LaTroy Hawkins, Hanley Ramirez and Shane Victorino, to name a few.   This off-season’s gathering will feature an additional activity as MGM Grand will host a poker tournament on Jan. 14, the night before the golf event, to benefit the Players Trust.   Space is limited, so reserve your spot now by calling 888-714-0755 or by e-mailing to PlayersTrust@mlbpa.org.   [Players subject to change.]
