They all follow a common theme: several years ago, member organizations relied on the guidance provided in the Alliance Common Vision to work with their partners to write strong time-bound commitments to improve procurement policies and practices. Fox | HBCU Media Alliance Takes 'The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story' on an HBCU Tour to Engage Audiences

On March 9, the Fox | HBCU Media Alliance wrapped the "The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story" historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) screening and Talk Back Tour. The multi-city tour was headlined by members of the cast from the FX Networks hit series, including Cuba Gooding, Jr., Sterling K. Brown, Courtney B. Vance and director John Singleton, all of whom participated in dynamic conversations that touched on the issues relevant to the series' themes of race, celebrity, discrimination, police corruption and sexism.

Ghetto Film School LA Kicks Off Program for Female Students to Expand Access to the Entertainment Industry

As part of its commitment to offer new avenues into the entertainment industry, Ghetto Film School Los Angeles launched a new program exclusively for its female students this spring. Entitled "Iris-In: A GFS Program for Young Women," the semester-long class features top female producers and filmmakers currently working in Hollywood. 21st Century Fox co-founded GFS LA in June 2014, and since then, its executives and talent have taken a hands-on role in enhancing the students' education.
