Walmart Announces $5 million Commitment for Hurricane Maria Relief

Walmart has committed $5 million in support of Hurricane Maria relief efforts. This builds on the commitments previously announced by Walmart and the Walmart Foundation totaling $35 million to support 2017 hurricane assistance in response to Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.

Carnival Fascination Delivers Food, Water and Other Relief Supplies to Island of Barbuda

During a port call in Antigua, Carnival Fascination dropped off pallets of water, food, and other items to be delivered to Barbuda as part of the island’s recovery and relief efforts. The delivery is part an ongoing initiative by Carnival to bring critical supplies to affected Caribbean islands following Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria.

Wells Fargo Donates $250,000 for Mexico Earthquake Relief Efforts

Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) today announced a $250,000 donation to the American Red Cross to assist with relief efforts in areas of central Mexico that were devastated by a Sept. 19 earthquake. This donation will help the Red Cross assist with preparedness, relief and recovery efforts following the 7.1 magnitude earthquake that killed more than 200 people, injured hundreds more and destroyed buildings and key infrastructure throughout the region. Wells Fargo has maintained a presence in Mexico since 1860.
