As the third-party verification body, SCS verified this first-of-its-kind offset project under the American Carbon Registry, successfully proving the sustainable rice growing methodology demonstrated greenhouse gas reductions.

This is because traditional supercomputers consume massive amounts of electrical power and produce high amounts of heat, requiring larger cooling facilities to be built to ensure proper performance. To address this challenge, a new breed of innovation is required, purpose-built to maximize efficiency without sacrificing performance and scale.
Under the agreement, CRS will help Changhua County establish and grow opportunities for renewable electricity purchasing and use in Taiwan, allowing residents and businesses to use locally generated clean energy.
