On Tuesday September 27th, our CEO Jes Staley and US colleagues joined Per Scholas in celebrating the grand opening of their new Brooklyn location. Built in partnership with Barclays, the expansion will allow Per Scholas to serve an additional 140 New Yorkers annually, expanding its impact to more than 550 New Yorkers trained every year.
The Columbus office has deep expertise in regulatory guidance for the states of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. We work on a lot of UST projects, other remediation projects, and provide transaction support for clients. We have a CHMM on staff who handles environmental audits, supports health & safety audits, and works on waste management and permitting projects, and the office is also home to the chemical segment lead.
The Seattle office provides services that support multiple segments and practice areas. Our typical projects include transaction support and due diligence, site assessment and remediation, permitting and compliance, OPA training, litigation support, and health and safety services. Our client companies include oil and gas, global high tech, railroads, insurance, law firms, manufacturing facilities, real estate, and retail locations.
The Antea Group Valhalla office, located in the New York City metro area, specializes in environmental liability management and health and safety. With deep expertise in oil and gas, we do a lot of work with retail petroleum, including liability management and remediation. Within the health and safety practice, Valhalla has worked on projects for major, longstanding chemical and healthcare clients. We also have experience partnering with insurance clients, helping to provide claims oversight and expert knowledge on environmental issues.
The Syracuse office is a lively crew that works on projects across all practices. We have particular expertise in regulatory compliance and support, enivironmental liability management, and sustainability and serve major clients in the food & beverage, high tech, and chemical industries. We pride ourselves on being jacks-of-all-trades, and try to incorporate staff cross-training as much as possible.
