As part of Planet Water Foundation’s Project 24, Xylem Watermark sponsored the deployment of an AquaTower at the Govt. Ashram School in Mendwan. Thirteen Xylem employees volunteered to help build the AquaTower and teach the students about water hygiene. With the intervention of Xylem Watermark and Planet Water Foundation, access to clean, safe water will be a reality.
Tetra Tech’s Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Program aims to inspire students to learn about and develop an interest in STEM-related fields. Our program continues to grow, enabling our employees to share their knowledge and to spark a passion for innovation and problem solving with students in our local communities.
Republic Services’ Las Vegas employees volunteered to help build student and community gardens as part of an initiative to install 12 gardens in one day. Republic volunteers had a great time working with the students and volunteers at Schofield Middle School and Gehring Elementary School in Las Vegas, NV.
Every year on Comcast Cares Day, our employees get their hands dirty to give back to their communities – and this year was no exception. At so many of our 1,200 community service projects that were part of our 17th Comcast Cares Day, our employees and other volunteers – a record 115,000 turned out – worked to make a positive impact and inspire environmental responsibility in all we do.
