For National Volunteer Month, ON Semiconductor highlights employees who are making a difference in their local community by engaging in nonprofit board member roles and volunteerism.
It's been 3 years since we launched our five-year Urban Greening commitment. This year, we set out to green not just one city, but three. With support from Journeys, the Student Conservation Association and our local communities, we pulled on our boots and took our greening commitment to Chicago, New York City and Los Angeles!

While community service is a core part of Timberland’s DNA, and employees around the globe volunteer at many events each year, we don’t always have the chance to return to the partners we serve and see the lasting impact of our work. I recently was able to revisit the Philadelphia Rail Park, which was the focus of Timberland’s 2017 urban greening effort and the site of a large-scale volunteer event to bring the park to life.
Subaru of America is proud to announce a donation of more than 5,000 science books to twenty Camden schools, continuing the brand’s commitment to education as part of its Subaru Loves Learning initiative. Earlier this week, Subaru of America President and CEO, Thomas J. Doll, joined Acting State Superintendent Katrina McCombs, and Harry C. Sharp Elementary School Principal Evelyn Ruiz to personally deliver the donated books to the Harry C. Sharp Elementary School. Following the delivery, Doll read one of the donated science books to a third-grade class of inquisitive students.
