Action for Healthy Kids® and CSX Corporation Provide Grants to 292 Schools for 2015-2016 School Year
Action for Healthy Kids® (AFHK) announces the 292 recipients of School Grants for Healthy Kids for the 2015-2016 school year, provided through funding by CSX Corporation. Awarded in 13 states, the grants aim to improve student knowledge, attitudes and behaviors around physical activity, while also engaging parents to support physical activity at home. Grants may also include a healthy eating component.

Samsung hosted its annual star-studded Hope for Children benefit gala (#SamsungGives) today featuring celebrity guests Ben Stiller, Tony Bennett, Josh Lucas and Rob Thomas. The event, held at the Manhattan Center in New York City, honored Samsung’s guests and partners, including Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation, who have helped to improve children’s lives and communities in the United States.

Antea Group, FEMSA Foundation, and Monetization Working Group to Lead Pre-Conference Session at EHS Management Forum
To help address the disconnect that can occur between proposed sustainability initiatives and final business decisions, Antea Group is pleased to announce a pre-conference training opportunity being offered as part of NAEM’s EHS Management Forum on October 13th in Charlotte, NC. The session, entitled Building a Better Business Case for Sustainability Investment Decisions, will be a hands-on, interactive workshop. Participants will learn to make more effective sustainability investment business cases, monetize the business value created through sustainability investments, and speak the language of decision-makers.

Sanofi's CSR Achievements Recognized in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices
Sanofi announced today that its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) performance has been recognized in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices. For the ninth consecutive year, Sanofi has been included in the DJSI World, the most recognized international sustainability indices by investors. Sanofi is also among five pharmaceutical companies selected for the DJSI Europe, a first in the company's history.

Keep America Beautiful Kicks Off Fifth Annual Recycle-Bowl Competition
Keep America Beautiful, the nation’s leading nonprofit which envisions a country where every community is a clean, green and beautiful place to live, today announced the launch of the fifth annual Recycle-Bowl youth recycling competition.
