Accelerated Sustainable Resource Leadership Championed By Nestle Waters Sustainability Chief
Pointing out that many collaboration efforts today may be well intentioned, but create limited shared value for both corporations and communities, Nelson Switzer, chief sustainability officer for Nestlé Waters North America, today called for aggressive new leadership in collective action through partnership to solve shared water challenges. He outlined this thinking at the 2016 Global Sustainability Summit (http://www.fmi.org/sustainability2016/overview) of the Food Marketing Institute and the Grocery Manufacturers Association being held in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The KU Sport Psychology Lab and Children International Partner to Create a Caring Sports Environment for Kids
The University of Kansas Sport and Exercise Psychology Lab (KUSEPL) and Children International (CI) have partnered to create a caring sports environment for kids in impoverished communities. A coaches’ clinic was held in Guatemala earlier this year where CI staff and volunteers were taught how to utilize sport psychology theory to make their Sports for Development program even more effective.

The port of Hamburg celebrated a premiere relating to LNG supply in May. On Saturday, May 14, AIDAprima and AIDAsol became the first two AIDA ships to be simultaneously supplied with and/or powered with energy produced from LNG (liquefied natural gas) while berthed in the port of Hamburg. AIDAprima´s Dual Fuel Motors are supplied directly from an LNG truck at the cruise terminal in Steinwerder.
